Shown below are some images of my work for the off the map project so far. Up to now, i have modelled 4 different trees, 3 different rocks, a large terrain for the forest area, including bake, a medieval cart, which will soon be imported into the scene below, and the gatehouse, which is still being worked on. I have also completed 4 moodboards, to help inspire my ideas, i did sepertate moodboards for the trees i was modelling, i looked into what trees are found in scotland, where our story is set, and i also looked at shape and colour, and did a set of thumbnails and silhouettes to present my ideas.I have also been working on a more polsihed concept for the forest area, to help inspire me when putting the scene together. On top of this I have completed a few different rock thumbnails, to again, make modelling easier. As well as this I completed a general moodboard which i am constantly adding to, this has a few different assests on, and shows a range of painting styles to help inspire us when working on concepts. I looked in depth in to certain assets, for example, the part of the modboard you can see below looks into wall torches and mirrors, to aid whoever is modelling that particular asset.
Before i started this work, I contributed my ideas about game mechanics and how our side scroller game would work, In the early days of the project I worked closely with the team sketching down some rough level designs and ideas.
