Overview of what people had achieved last week:
We have achieved a good amount, we have a basic level working in engine with the rooms that are shown on a clearly illustrated level map. Macbeth has been concepted and the high poly sculpt has been started. The garden area concepts have been started and the amount assets are nearly complete. Duncan’s bedroom concepts have been started.
Next steps of the project:
We discussed what we need to achieve for next week and what we need to be able to achieve that. I have posted an FBX export of the level so far in UE4 onto Google Drive so that each team member can go away and concept their assigned rooms and fill it with assets the correct scale. The next step after that is to create basic lighting and think about the larger assets like walls.
Individual tasks for the week:
Bethany Cox - Work on large assets eg. walls, pillars. Work on game mechanics in engine. Rough Lighting.
Ross Veebel - High poly Macbeth and final concept.
Alex Caulfield - Finish Tree concepts. Modelling trees and outside assets. Concept gatehouse.
Ryan Day - Concept great hall layout and model assets.
Sandra Kalita - Finish up top view of bedroom. Concept bedroom. Block out bedroom. Model Assets.
